If you have more than one ex-spouse who is eligible for spousal benefits on your work record, each can draw benefits. This will not impact the amount of your retirement benefits. Each of your ex-spouses will have to have been married to you for ten years or more. They couldn’t have remarried and still be married, and they would have to be sixty-two or older. If you’re currently married, your current spouse could also collect spousal benefits as long as the eligibility requirements are met.
As an ex-spouse receiving spousal benefits on your ex-spouse’s work record, it doesn’t matter how many times your ex-spouse gets married and divorced. The ex-spouse’s marital status doesn’t impact you at all.
